Job Summary and Description
The Director of Online Learning will shape and implement the AlamoColleges Online (ACOL) strategic plan to build and strengthen each College'scapacity to deliver premier, quality distance learning experiences forstudents. Implements processes, policies, procedures and monitors the effectivenessand efficiencies of instructional and digital learning innovation initiatives.Evaluates outcomes and makes recommendation to leaders on strategies to improve keystrategies, projects and initiatives across the district. The Director will devise efficient and collaborative workflowsacross a dynamic team of instructional, multi-media and graphic designers;stewarding processes to foster relationships with leadership and faculty acrossthe district.
Reports to the ChiefOnline Learning Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Success.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
- Five years of professional experience in online course design, curriculum development, project management, data analysis or related experience within a higher education environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Direct experience coordinating and reporting on complex instructional design and development projects.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Mustpossess a valid driver license. Must be insurable through theorganization's insurers.
