RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Director of Operations include but are not limited to:
  • Acts as a strategic partner to the President, provides valuable insights informed by ongoing operations and key metrics
  • Collaborates across departments to build rapport and ensure alignment with objectives
  • Works closely with the Director of Finance to create and achieve operational budget objectives
  • Engages with legal counsel to ensure compliance with real estate law
  • Develops a robust regional team through strategic recruitment and partnership with an external HR firm
  • Oversees the creation and oversight of training protocols to nurture team development
  • Fosters managers' transformation into exceptional leaders through a tailored hard and soft skill development
  • Directs daily property management operations, ensures optimal performance of all team members through hands-on coaching, educating, and mentoring
  • Cultivates a profound understanding of existing processes and procedures, emphasizes their adherence and importance within the organization
  • First seeks to understand and then proactively identifies and explores potential areas for process improvement, leveraging current team members' expertise
  • Champions the customer service experience, sets exacting standards for responsiveness, approachability, and genuine care
  • Ensures expense control through monitoring resources and efficient bidding
  • Ensures revenue targets are met thorough analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Maintains clear and consistent expectations, ensures transparent communication and alignment with team members to reach goals
  • Manages all records to foster an organized and efficient documentation system


** This is a full-time, in-person position based in Southfield, MI. **

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience (director level or above)
  • 4-year college degree in Business Management, Economics, or other relevant degree
  • Business acumen
  • Financial acumen

Preferred
  • 10+ years of leadership experience (at any level)
  • Real estate experience
  • Marketing oversight
  • Customer service experience

Desired
  • Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) experience

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000, + bonus potential of 25% of base
