Description:
The Director of Operations is responsible for analyzing and improving upon J&B Virtual Solutions' systems and processes and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The primary responsibilities of the Director is to partner with Business Development (and other executives) and the technology team and be the connection between the two by analyzing business and system functions, translating business requirements into technical requirements for IT and performing project management of critical IT system builds and improvements. Other responsibilities include responsibility for client billing, client interaction and oversight of office functions.

This is a full-time exempt position; 40 hour minimum, with the expectation to maintain a regular work schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Essential Functions:
- Gather and analyze business requirements, identify pain points, and understand current processes to define potential solutions through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for IT systems and projects.
- Partner with executives to identify system needs, translate business requirements into technical specifications for software development, including system architecture and user interface design.
- Develop and oversee project planning, tracking progress, managing timelines, and mitigating risks for IT system builds.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Test the implementation of new IT systems, coordinating testing and internal and external user training.
- Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and propose enhancements based on internal and external user feedback.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise, troubleshooting problems and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.

Position Type:

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years experience with same or similar job duties.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of the medical and telemedicine industry.
