We operate Six convenient locations throughout Reno and Sparks, providing comprehensive, top-quality medical services, dental and pediatric care, behavioral health, low-cost pharmacies, nourishing food pantries, and more.
Job Summary: The Director of Operations collaborates with CHA's clinical leadership and executive team to grow, maintain, and improve services. Responsibilities include supervising the Health Center Manager, Clinic Site Supervisors, Call Center, WIC and Facilities, as well as monitoring patient flow, patient satisfaction, customer satisfaction, proficiency and accuracy of the medical front office.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Ability to enforce regulations firmly, tactfully and impartially.
- Skilled in e-Clinical Works.
- Skilled in operating personal computer utilizing word processing, data bases, e-mail, and excel.
- Ability to effectively communicate both in-person, telephone and in written formats (email, Teams, etc.).
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to understand and respond appropriately, effectively and sensitively to special populations groups as defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, etc.
- Ability to attend and actively participates in all health center and clinical operations meetings.
- Notifies direct supervisor(s) of unusual occurrences and adheres to policy regarding incident forms and/or patient complaints.
- Ability to maintain a driver's license, and travel between clinic sites as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or ambulatory care setting; FQHC experience preferred.
- 3+ years of demonstrated management or director level experience.
