About the Opportunity:
A fast-growing, independent healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead the day-to-day management and performance of our multi-site primary care practice. With several locations across Philadelphia and the surrounding region, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact in a thriving healthcare environment.

Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will provide strong, hands-on leadership across all practice locations, supporting a wide range of services including family and internal medicine, occupational health, behavioral health, and employer services. You'll drive operational excellence, support clinical and administrative staff, oversee compliance, and collaborate with executive leadership to drive growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Set and execute operational goals aligned with clinical, administrative, and legal standards
  • Oversee site operations and performance across 9+ clinic locations
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape service offerings, evaluate expansion opportunities, and support affiliated physician organizations
  • Lead staffing operations: hiring, onboarding, performance management, and training
  • Manage departmental budgets and financial performance; coordinate audits
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
  • Champion a culture of high performance, accountability, and patient satisfaction


Experience and Skills
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of direct physician practice management experience, including multi-site leadership
  • 3+ years experience using an EMR
  • Proven experience leading 25+ employees
  • Budgeting and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of third-party payers, insurance verification, HIPAA, and medical practice workflow

Education:
  • Required: Associate's degree in Management, Accounting, Nursing, Medical Practice Management, or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field

Job Benefits
Compensation:
  • Base Salary: Starting at $120,000+, commensurate with experience
  • Bonus Potential: Up to 30% annually based on performance
