Director of Manufacturing Operations needed for industry leading food manufacturer
An industry leading frozen food manufacturing company is looking for a Director of Operations to help manage the production and overall site operation.
This Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility. They will report directly to Senior Vice President of Operations, leveraging management experience to help maintain the high velocity manufacturing operations processes.

An industry leading frozen food manufacturing company is looking for a Director of Operations to help manage the production and overall site operation.
This Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility. They will report directly to Senior Vice President of Operations, leveraging management experience to help maintain the high velocity manufacturing operations processes.
The Director of Operations will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage P&L function to adhere to budget
- Lead the manufacturing operations of all products
- Maintain efficiency for fast-paced production
- Oversee all equipment use and ensure quality and safety of over 400 employees
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient matter
- Drive and motivate plant employees to reach successful daily completion initiatives
- Drive safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Work with Maintenance and Engineering staff on CAPEX Projects
- Partner with HR to settle employee issues, training initiatives, and employee investigations
- Direct process and operational improvements where necessary
- Experience in a highly technical warehouse
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset
- 8+ years of Operations experience
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
- BA/BS Degree in Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with a GMP, FDA, EH&S, OSHA compliant facility and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to discipline when necessary
- Continued ability to maintain a culture of consistent improvement
- Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO experience is a plus
