We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of People & Culture, to lead our HR functions, drive process improvements, and manage a team to ensure seamless employee experience. This role will oversee employee relations, payroll administration, compliance reporting, benefits management, immigration and employment law policies, assist in disaster and emergency procedures and onboarding/offboarding while developing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of People & Culture, to lead our HR functions, drive process improvements, and manage a team to ensure seamless employee experience. This role will oversee employee relations, payroll administration, compliance reporting, benefits management, immigration and employment law policies, assist in disaster and emergency procedures and onboarding/offboarding while developing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and enhance company culture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
- Continuously assess and improve HR processes for efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights on workforce planning, engagement, and retention.
- Oversight of Recruitment, Talent & Development, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.
- Oversee company policy and procedure development, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, international (Israel) and company regulations, including HIPAA, EEO-1, OIG, and immigration requirements.
- Facilitate employee compliance training programs.
- Manage ADP system administration and safeguard payroll processes.
- Oversee employment verifications and payroll-related requests.
- Handle federal/state compliance reporting and California Pay Data reporting.
- Oversee monthly HR reporting, including executive compensation and ESG reporting.
- Oversee open enrollment, including communications, invoicing, and audits.
- Manage benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Handle 5500 reporting and benefits compliance tasks.
- Develop and oversee initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead employee recognition programs, town halls, and quarterly awards to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field, with leadership experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business success.
- Strong experience in team management, mentorship, and leadership.
- Expertise in payroll systems (ADP preferred), compliance reporting, and benefits administration.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
