Full-Time, Monday through Friday (No evenings, weekends, and 11 paid holidays.

We operate 12 medical and dental locations, including a full-service pharmacy, and partner with ProMedica, Mercy Health, and the University of Toledo Medical Center. Position Summary:
NHA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pharmacy Operations to lead our dynamic retail pharmacy. This leadership role requires a minimum of four (4) years of pharmacy experience, with proven expertise in managing retail pharmacy operations. 340B and APEXUS program knowledge is essential-this individual will oversee all aspects of compliance, inventory, and strategic execution of 340B policies within the pharmacy setting.
This is a Monday-Friday position with no evenings, weekends, and 11 paid holiday shifts, offering an excellent work-life balance while leading impactful operations that serve the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service.
- Lead, schedule, and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Provide strategic leadership and compliance management of the 340B program, including policy implementation and APEXUS standards.
- Monitor inventory, drug procurement, and ensure tight controls on scheduled substances.
- Support provider teams by offering pharmaceutical insights and flagging potential drug interactions or therapy concerns.
- Deliver patient counseling and education on prescription use, ensuring medication adherence and safety.
-Ensure pharmacy operations adhere to state and federal regulations, including Board of Pharmacy and DEA compliance.
-Maintain a secure, professional, and patient-centered environment.
Qualifications:
-Active Ohio Pharmacist License (RPh); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of pharmacy experience required; leadership in retail pharmacy operations is highly preferred.
- Extensive working knowledge of 340B Program and APEXUS guidelines is required.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills; able to lead cross-functional pharmacy teams.
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, community-focused environment.
