Job Summary:
The Director of Product Management (PM) serves as the champion for all Equipment and Parts and Supplies products. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing strategic initiatives set forth by the region. The Director will interface and collaborate with regional Product Managers, Sales Leadership, and Channels to establish and support sales strategy requirements. Responsibilities:
Identify, coordinate, and facilitate required equipment and P&S training for all regional personnel, ensuring comprehensive understanding and implementation.
Proactively addresses zonal/regional needs for equipment and parts and supplies promotions, managing and communicating these promotions to boost product awareness and sales.
Provide written updates and directions on all product and promotional materials to support regional sales teams, integrating with them to conduct product, program, and selling training.
Facilitate and participate in joint customer calls, meetings, and training sessions with regional sales teams, serving as a liaison between HQ product management and regional functions.
Identify and manage with zonal PMs, planning, and operations to maintain appropriate product mix, provide direction on model supersedes, make substitution recommendations, and manage inventory levels.
Ensure regional PMs understand equipment quotes, P&S mods, and supplier rebate processes, and their impacts on market pricing and profitability, while managing and training zonal representatives on sell price positioning.
Manage and support the plan and spec regional teams in reviewing materials, positioning for Carrier/Bryant/Payne products, and managing zonal/regional actions around NPI/ESD to address inventory inefficiencies.
Communicate service bulletins, provide product data and mix information, collaborate with HQ PM to develop market share improvement strategies, and perform other duties as assigned.

XX Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
3-5 years of experience in Parts/Supplies Product Management or Sales is required.
Demonstrated performance history in the HVAC industry, ideally in product management or a specialized sales capacity.
Experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
This role has 5-8 direct reports; Must have experience managing a small team.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best performance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong business and problem-solving skills with a high sense of urgency.
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments, demonstrating strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in product management tools and software, with required PC literacy and strong Excel skills.
High level of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, with a results-oriented focus on achieving business objectives, strong ethical standards, and integrity. Willingness to travel 30% of the time within the assigned zone.
