Summary
The Director of Product Management is a strategic leader with the ability to implement and execute plans responsible for driving the success of the company's product portfolio. This role plays a key part in shaping the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives in accordance with our competitive advantages of Design, Culture, and Craft. Working in partnership with the director of design, director of engineering and leaders from finance, operations, sales, and their respective teams, this role ensures that products are developed, launched, and continuously improved to meet customer needs and deliver strong business outcomes. This role will foster a customer-centric, qualitative, quantitative, and results-oriented approach. They will be responsible for translating market trends, customer feedback, and business goals into a clear product strategy and roadmap. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the full product lifecycle, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that create value for users and drive growth.

Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in product management and development, preferably within the furniture or home goods industry. Experience working with international and domestic manufacturers, including sourcing and production oversight. The candidate must have a proven track record of launching successful furniture products and driving category growth. Strong understanding of furniture design principles, materials, manufacturing techniques, and supply chain dynamics. Ability to balance creativity, cost management, and functionality in product development. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen, with experience managing product P&Ls and budget planning. Familiarity with sustainability trends and regulations in furniture design and production.

- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for product categories and market segments, ensuring alignment with Landscape Forms design principles and customer needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the end-to-end product development process, from concept and design to prototyping, production, and launch.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to bring design-centric, innovative, high-quality products to market
- Collaborate on material selection, sustainability initiatives, and manufacturing processes to optimize product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify new product opportunities.
- Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and refreshes to maintain relevance and competitiveness.
- As part of product lifecycle management, recommend product discontinuation to ensure product portfolio is efficient and effective
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support sales efforts.
- Establish and track KPIs related to product performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies in manufacturing.
- Represent Landscape Forms through positive and leading interactions with key stakeholder groups: Customers, Team Members, Suppliers, Partners, Communities and other Key Industry Leaders.
