Position Summary

Gravitas Nevada, Ltd., a respected cannabis company with cultivation and manufacturing operations in Nevada, is looking for a detail oriented, dedicated individual to join our management team. The Director of Product Operations is responsible for the oversight of Post Harvest Operations, which includes Policies and Procedures, Lifecycle Management, Communication and Reporting, Internal Monitoring, and Inventory Control. This position will have direct reports and will work closely with cross-functional teams. Many of the direct reports for this role will have their own subordinates, so applicant will be guiding junior leaders within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader who is enthusiastic and passionate about the industry.

Specific responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Oversee the movement of product/plants within METRC.
Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows.
Manage Post Harvest department which includes: Trimming, Packaging, Cycle Control & Sales Fulfillment.
Ensure orders are properly prepared and documented for QC.
Ensure all departmental SOP's are followed correctly.
Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of the company's ERP system.
Streamline packaging and cycle control processes to enhance efficiency.
Effective documentation and reporting as needed.
Use of Google Drive for all pertinent information.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance for the state of Nevada.
Knowledge of growing techniques and cycle of the garden.
Monitor employee output and set production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Record keeping for any METRC-related items.
Understanding of COA's.
Develop relationship with CCB for cultivation-related reporting and requests.
Develop relationships with laboratories for state mandated testing.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
Minimum age of 21 years
3+ year(s) of work experience in a cultivation facility
Thorough understanding of METRC
Working knowledge of cannabis
Proven ability to lead cross-functional team
Exceptional communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Able to sit and or stand for an extended amount of time
Able to work 40 hours a week

Other Skills and Qualifications

Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to manage diverse tasks and interact with the varied constituencies involved in the organization. Applicant should have a successful track record of implementing, tracking, and improving multi-step processes.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Interface, other software applications.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

Valid Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance.

Other Requirements

Must complete and submit an Agent Application Fingerprint Submission form. Must obtain a Cultivation Agent Card.

Travel Requirements

Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various locations if needed. Travel may be required on a local, regional, or national level for cultivation activities and or to attend conferences/workshops related to the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand, use hands, and to talk or hear. Ability to stoop, bend over, lift to 50lbs, reach up high to grab and move inventory, carry item up/downstairs, climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Prolonged sitting or standing may be required, 8 hours plus. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility normally associated with production will be performed on a repetitive basis. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols, as well as the ability to utilize telephones, computer terminals and copiers is required.
