Job Summary:
The Director of Project Management's role is to oversee and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operations in the OSU IT Project Management Office. The Director will ensure quality, scope objectives, and add value to projects that meet organizational goals. Oversee IT projects using portfolio management, project management and organizational change management disciplines. Forecast and track the availability of resources to do the project work throughout the project life cycle. Develop metrics to ensure a consistent and effective flow of communication between all constituents of the PMO. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Guide the PMO team and ensure all are working towards a common goal.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Five years of related experience.
Proven record and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex, multidisciplinary IT projects.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clear, grammatically correct English. Requires interaction with supervisors, colleagues, students, using tact, discretion, and independent judgement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
Five years of experience in higher education.
Experience with multiple organizations/campuses and large user base.
Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent
ITIL Foundations Certification
