Director of Projects

Position Summary
The Director of Projects is responsible for leading the team of Project Managers for the division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals through all phases of project development, implementation, and execution of new construction projects.
• Ensure proper flow of information to and from projects and that project deliverables are completed and turned over to the client per project schedule.
• Conduct hiring interviews to fill critical vacancies and annual reviews with all current reporting managers based on staffing needs.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and positions across the division to ensure the company strategic goals are well implemented and communicated based on our company policies, industry specifications, and past operating history.
• Prepare dashboards and reports to the executive team outlining staffing decisions, project performance, financial performance, and overall schedule adherence.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with customers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, identifying moments to leverage emerging opportunities.
• Ensure all projects operate according to the overall schedule and in support of high-level business objectives.
• Participate in client project meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
