QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold a valid New Jersey School Administrator certificate with a minimum of 1 year of previous work experience under this certificate as a central office administrator or in a position with district-wide responsibilities.
- Preferred previous work experience as a central office administrator should include district-wide duties related to school counseling, district registration and residency, social-emotional learning, anti-bullying, and/or health services.
- Have at least 5 years of successful experience as a secondary (grades 6-12) administrator in a public-school setting.
- Have a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to analyze statistical data for data-driven decision making.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to general education and special education.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations of staff, parents, and students.
- Knowledge of innovative, progressive, and alternative education programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective, collaborative work with a wide range of stakeholders within a diverse community
