We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team in a leadership role focused on food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in shaping strategies that ensure the ongoing success and integrity of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the development and execution of food safety initiatives, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Safety Leadership:

    • Lead the development and implementation of food safety programs.
    • Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.
    • Guide key safety management systems.
  • Quality Assurance Management:

    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality protocols.
    • Monitor and enforce quality control standards.
    • Perform audits to ensure product consistency.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay informed on evolving regulations and best practices.
    • Ensure all products align with regulatory and customer expectations.
    • Manage relationships with regulators and third parties.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of professionals in food safety and quality.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
    • Provide training to ensure team members meet safety standards.
  • Crisis Management:

    • Develop and manage crisis and recall plans.
    • Lead investigations into food safety issues.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with various departments to integrate food safety and quality efforts.
    • Communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders.

  • Qualifications:

    • Degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance.
    • Strong background in regulatory compliance.
    • Proven leadership and organizational skills.
    • Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
