Director of Quality Assurance

Are you ready to take the lead in ensuring top-notch safety and quality in a dynamic food manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Director of Quality Assurance who is passionate about innovation and excellence.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and Inspire: Oversee daily ESH operations, splitting your time between the floor and the office.
• Collaborate: Work closely with EHS, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Innovate: Promote efficiency programs and foster a culture of safety across the facility.
• Strategize: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term business plans.
• Enhance Capabilities: Build processes to ensure COAs are readily available for customers.
• Ensure Compliance: Guide colleagues in meeting key regulatory certification requirements and uphold FDA, USDA, Kosher, Gluten-Free, and Organic regulations.
• Manage Recalls: Develop and maintain recall and traceability programs, including mock recalls.

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in food science/engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 8+ years in Quality environment, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Compliance Expertise: Proficient in USDA, FDA, or GMP guidelines and experienced with audit compliance.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Certifications: LEAN/Six Sigma/5 Whys/Pareto certifications are a plus.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish.
