The Director of Real Estate and facilities is responsible for the project management of all leasing, construction, facilities, and real estate transactions.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Assist with real estate acquisition planning including: Phase I studies, title work, ALTA surveys, TOPO surveys, purchase agreements, existing facility studies, etc., along with proper vetting of the building and site constraints.
- Work with the team to handle zoning regulations and city approvals by providing clear direction on project intent and operational practices.
- With assistance of architects and with feedback from the store/corporate team, work to determine physical space needs, desired adjacencies and overall facility objectives.
- Implement Morrie's and OEM design standards and specs with individual store requirements.
- Manage construction meetings and overall project schedules between design, construction, and store management teams in association with manufacturer required deadlines.
- Manage facilities team to ensure facilities meet company standards for customer and employee satisfaction.
- Manage the procurement of owner FFE necessary for operations (i.e. furniture, service equipment, MFR media packages, signage, security, IT)
- Work to with external partners to ensure that Morrie's construction projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all things construction and building related as it pertains to new builds, remodels, etc.
- Manage communication with the manufacturers on location approvals, design and construction deadlines, and reimbursements related to facility improvements.
- Prepare budgets on overall project costs and report on construction progress to MAG Management team and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field. Real Estate Certification and/or Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate transactions and portfolio management is preferred along with a minimum of 5-years of facilities management.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience required.
- Automotive and/or retail construction experience is preferred.
