Job Summary: The Director of Recruitment & Personnel, working under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), is primarily responsible for leading all recruitment efforts. This role also includes routine oversight of key human resource functions, such as managing information systems, ensuring compliance processes are followed, and supporting employee relations.

Annual Salary: Grade 9: $97,345 - $132,128 DOE
Work Day: 8 hours
Work Year: 12 months
Bargaining Unit: Non-Represented

Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, education, or a related field within the social sciences.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of management-level experience in human resources or educational leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, training, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in time management, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and implement effective solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, COBRA, ADA, ACA, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage sensitive issues with discretion, utilizing strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate overarching strategies into practical, actionable plans.
  • Ability to identify, design, and implement process improvements.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups, assisting them in resolving issues.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.
