Your Role:
Operational Management: Ensure operational practices align with industry standards, government regulations, and accreditation requirements. Lead the development and implementation of regulatory strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and support a multidisciplinary team to maintain high performance standards. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Patient Care & Satisfaction: Prioritize patient experience by ensuring services are delivered with care, respect, and professionalism. Address patient inquiries or concerns to meet individual needs while achieving operational goals.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure services meet the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and quality by adhering to regulatory guidelines such as DPH, ACR, Radiation Control, Quality Scores, HIPAA, OSHA, and more.
Quality Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to optimize imaging practices, improve patient outcomes, and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Technology & Innovation: Stay informed on the latest imaging technologies, trends, and innovations. Integrate new technologies into workflows to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure coordinated care and service delivery. Function as a liaison to resolve operational or patient care issues.
Training & Development: Assist in recruitment, training, and development of new team members. Support ongoing education for existing staff to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the budget and manage resources to ensure financial and operational efficiency. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining care quality.
Function as the primary contact with regulatory authorities, overseeing all communications and submissions.
Perform mock inspections at Imaging locations.
Provide regulatory input and advice to the organization's leadership team, helping to shape strategic decisions.
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Develop and conduct regulatory training and education programs for the organization.
What You Bring to the Team:
Education: A bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare operations experience, particularly in diagnostic imaging or radiology management, with clinical experience in a healthcare setting required. Experience in managing regulatory compliance in a clinical environment is preferred.
Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a healthcare setting.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices in medical imaging, with a solid background in managing compliance in clinical environments.
Team Management: Ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Operational Excellence: Expertise in streamlining workflows, enhancing operational efficiencies, and managing resources to deliver high-quality care on time and within budget.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions to operational challenges.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
Patient-Centered Care: A deep commitment to patient satisfaction, safety, and quality of care, with the ability to balance patient needs with operational goals.
Technological Savvy: Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and diagnostic imaging technologies. Knowledge of EHR, PACS, and scheduling software is preferred.
Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare, including HIPAA, OSHA, and medical imaging field services.
Regulatory Compliance & Licensing: Experience with the submission and management of regulatory renewals, including:
o DPH Clinic License Renewals for all locations and service lines.
o Controlled Substance Registrations.
o Clinic Laboratory (CLIA) Waivers.
o Radioactive Materials (RAM) Registrations.
o ProCare Service Registration.
o Equipment Registration.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies, patient needs, and industry developments in a fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
Financial Management: Experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and cost management to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining quality service delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
