About the Role:
The Director of Revenue Cycle Operations will play a pivotal role in optimizing the financial performance of our public administration services. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring that all billing, collections, and revenue management activities are executed efficiently and effectively. The Director will lead a team of professionals, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By analyzing financial data and implementing best practices, the Director will enhance revenue integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, this role aims to maximize revenue generation while ensuring high-quality service delivery to the community.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration or healthcare management.
- Experience in public administration or government healthcare programs.
- Certification in revenue cycle management (e.g., CRCR, CHFP) or related credentials.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the revenue cycle process from patient registration to final payment.
- Oversee billing and collections operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle efficiency and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, clinical operations, and IT, to enhance revenue cycle workflows.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the revenue cycle team, fostering professional development and a high-performance culture.

- The required skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, which will be utilized to assess revenue cycle performance and identify areas for improvement. Leadership skills are essential for guiding and motivating the revenue cycle team, ensuring that all members are aligned with the organization's goals. Excellent communication skills will be necessary for collaborating with various departments and presenting financial data to stakeholders. Familiarity with healthcare billing software and data management systems will be crucial for streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. Preferred skills, such as advanced financial modeling and strategic planning, will further support the Director in making informed decisions that drive revenue growth.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write reports that present data and other information in a logical and cogent manner. Ability to make clear, concise and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
