Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overseeing billing, coding, and credentialing
  • Analyzing trends and preparing strategic reports
  • Ensuring timely claim processing and improving cash flow
  • Training and mentoring staff for success

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Revenue Cycle and at least 3 years of management-level experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Epic experience is required, including optimizing workflow efficiency and effectively managing work queues.
  • FQHC knowledge is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of patient financial services (PFS) processes, billing, collections, and cash posting standards.
  • General knowledge of patient registration, finance, and data processing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to patient accounting, including a solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care processes.
  • Certification(s)/Licensure: ICD-10 medical coding certification is preferred.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
