Now Hiring: Revenue Cycle Director
We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to head our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department, guide and develop our people, and lead initiatives that modernize our systems and deliver an exceptional billing experience. This role will report directly to the CFO and requires regular presentations to the Board of Directors regarding department performance, KPIs, and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, develop, and continuously enhance all Revenue Cycle Management policies and processes, aligning with organizational growth and compliance standards.
  • Structure and manage departmental workflows, staffing, and training to optimize both efficiency and outcomes.
  • Ensure performance goals are met daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Develop and present KPI dashboards, reconciliation packs, and financial reporting to the CFO and Board of Directors, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and the VP of Operations to evaluate and improve collections across all practices and regions.
  • Lead and support software conversions and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to billing operations.
  • Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure scalable and consistent RCM practices.
  • Work cross-functionally to implement and maintain billing workflows that support efficient and transparent revenue cycle operations.
  • Proactively manage and reduce outstanding debt and aged receivables.
  • Oversee the RCM team's day-to-day functions including billing, insurance claims, cash posting, contract review, and account resolution.
  • Support insurance credentialing and ensure timely payer setup to minimize disruptions in reimbursement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, one-on-ones, and development planning with team members.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for all Revenue Cycle personnel.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Dentrix Enterprise and other RCM systems.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle Management, preferably in a dental or multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with software conversions and implementation of new technologies within the RCM space.
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance billing, reimbursement cycles, and credentialing processes.
  • Proven track record in creating and maintaining SOPs to support operational excellence.
  • Advanced proficiency with both Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Dentrix Enterprise or comparable dental practice management software.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to present financial performance and insights to executive leadership and Board members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with strong attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.
