Position Purpose

The Director of Sales OEM WB is a key leadership position with the recognized market leader reporting to the President, AMCAS. The successful candidate will drive new aftermarket sales and service revenues for the company. Responsibilities include execution of budgeted growth plans, management of regional sales/service teams, implementation and deployment of growth initiatives, operations and manufacturing interface, distribution and channel development and strategic planning.

Job Functions

  • Plan, develop and implement strategy for sales in the region to meet agreed regional revenue growth plans within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Screen customer needs and sales opportunities for the entire Norican Group WGM product portfolio, OEM.
  • Develop strong customer relationships in territory and cooperation with regional sales team and sales channels
  • Evaluate market requirements for applications and existing WGM product line.
  • Provide leadership for management team by supporting, development and setting/measuring of goals and objectives, ensuring a safe workplace for employees, exercising good judgment and setting a good example, and providing effective feedback and communication.
  • Provide standard quotations, facilitating contractual negotiations and coordinate regional project execution for Norican OEM WGM applications in agreement with the Technology Center (TC)
  • Securing a regional organization (in size and qualification) which can fulfill strategic targets
  • Ensure knowledge transfer of market intelligence from the region to respective stakeholders
  • Coordinating and developing agents in the region
  • Develop annual Regional Business Plan for WGM in accordance with the strategic targets for the region
  • Adapt global ways of working to regional use; Marketing, Sales Approach, CRM, IT, Talent Managment, etc.
  • Own Merlin and Strategic Pricing tracking
  • Identify and offer local products and services to the industry's installed base beyond the Norican current offer
  • Standardize sales process and measurement Communication with, follow up and development of regional agents
  • Ensure motivation of local Regional Sales Managers for implementing operational changes through communication and leadership
  • Perform special projects and duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or other relevant degree. MBA would be an additional advantage
  • Experience in the Wheelabrator industry and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with sales of large-scale projects and key account management on a regional level Experience with matrix-style line management & preferably combined with exposure to corporate level interactions Proven ability to design and create solutions that win customers and create long term partnerships
  • Experience with international activities, either from working abroad or from an organization/company with a strong international focus
