We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead and drive our sales strategy, cultivate a high-performing team, and achieve ambitious revenue targets. The Director of Sales is responsible for managing SolaHD business segment success by driving profitable sales growth. The individual will develop and implement sales strategies, forecast sales, and manage direct sales staff and relationships with channel partners, OEMs and end customer to meet and exceed business plan objectives. The position will be managing a seasoned staff of electrical discipline technical sales professionals and independent rep agents and will report directly to the Business Director of Controls & Software.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow sales, drive specification, and gain share in target markets
  • Lead sales organization to achieve planned sales, sales programs, and other financial objectives
  • Develop new and manage existing relationships with strategic channel partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and end customers
  • Manage direct sales team including goal setting and performance reviews
  • Manage sales channels including developing and implementing overall channel strategy, monitoring channel partner performance, and implementing changes as necessary
  • Remain knowledgeable about market and industry trends, competitors, and customer strategies
  • Provide voice of customer feedback to product management team

Who You Are:

A results-driven leader with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams to achieve and exceed targets, focusing on strategic planning, market analysis, and fostering strong client relationships to drive revenue growth.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant years of experience in technical sales or marketing environment with progressive levels of responsibility commensurate with the level of this role.
  • Excellent leadership skills to lead and inspire superior effort and results from direct reports, 3rd party reps, and distribution channel
  • Advanced strategic selling / negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, and written & oral communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to travel 60% to meet business needs
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • 10+ years' experience in technical sales or marketing environment with progressive levels of responsibility
  • Electrical industry background and / or familiarity with electrical industry distribution sales channels

Our Culture & Commitment to You:

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
