Sales Supervision
- Maintain sales staff, in coordination with branch managers, by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results (in conjunction with branch managers).
- Proven track record of establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for branches and salesmen; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new fleet.
- Coordinate efforts of marketing and national account manager to increase revenue across the company footprint.
- Manage and implement the sales forecasting and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales and marketing organization.
- Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and branch management levels.
- Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing service-oriented industry.
- Successful track record developing and implementing go to market strategies.
- Understand the competitive landscape and the market trends in each of our markets.
- Expert in the features and benefits of mobile cranes and the preferences of end users.
- Expert in the cost of mobile crane transportation, assembly and operating.
- Expert in pricing strategies to maximize revenue throughout the rental lifecycle and across the company footprint.
- Define contact and account quality standards in the database, defining processes and data acquisition strategies.
- Identify and solve client issues strategically.
- Proficient with generating and converting quotes, running reports and running the CRM package in NexGen from Fleet Cost & Care.
- Proficient in generating reports from Sage.
- Proven track record in sales development and training.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be willing to travel and attend tradeshows.
- Must be willing to visit job sites and being around heavy machinery.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be organized.
- Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
