Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales strategy, with a focus on trading airplane parts across international markets, especially in Asia and Latin America.
- Maintain and grow relationships with airlines, ensuring a steady pipeline of parts requests and trades.
- Manage the pricing, valuation, and trading of fluctuating aircraft commodities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives, driving revenue and profitability.
- Work closely with internal purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure inventory levels meet market demand.
- Act as a key point of contact for high-level negotiations and trading deals with airlines and suppliers.
- Oversee sales operations, reporting, and forecasting for continuous improvement in sales performance.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of aviation parts, numbers, and pricing trends to maximize trading success.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in the aviation parts industry, preferably in trading or sales-related roles.
- Extensive knowledge of airplane parts and commodity trading in the aviation industry.
- Strong relationships with airlines in Asian or Latin American markets.
- A keen ability to manage fluctuating prices and high-value transactions, with a photographic memory for numbers and details.
- Experience in leadership roles such as Director of Sales, Director of Purchasing, or VP-level positions within aviation trading or parts.
- Ability to identify and pull talent from competitors to strengthen the sales team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in sales or trading in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Established relationships with suppliers and airlines across Asia and Latin America.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to operate discreetly when needed.
