The LA Clippers are looking to hire a Director of Web & Social Marketing to join our marketing org at our new home, Intuit Dome. In this role you will be responsible for developing strategies, content & programming that will grow the Clippers brand and engage our fan base. More specifically, you will focus on developing growth strategies and social content development to drive audience growth and engagement across both LA Clippers and Intuit Dome channels.
We are looking for someone who exhibits a successful history of building an impressive social/web presence, using data to drive your decisions, and a willingness to be hands-on with execution. You should also be a team first leader who is a big thinker, passionate about continually elevating the brand, delivering consistent story telling, and most importantly making a lasting impact across the marketplace.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.

What You'll Do:
- Identify strategic growth opportunities that will nurture our growing fan base & revenue by enhancing our social and web channels
- Collaborate with broader Marketing, Sales and BI teams to harness data and insights to deliver Ticketing/Merch revenue across our owned channels
- Own the social strategy and development across LA Clippers, Intuit Dome & Entertainment team (Clippers Spirit) social channels with a fierce focus on driving growth across followers, views, and engagement
- Lead the Web Development to build robust content strategies across our LA Clippers and Intuit Dome websites and apps.
- Develop robust Marketing Plans & breakthrough communication to support the launch of key programming & initiatives (including go to market plans for new product offerings)
- Define, build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice across all platforms
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing & Head of Content to develop marketing strategies across our LA Clippers campaigns & initiatives across digital channels including in-app communication / push notifications, website development/enhancements & social campaigns.
- Work closely with Partnership Marketing team to deliver on sponsor contractual obligations
- Consistently bring creative and innovative ideas forward, and build capability and strategic partnerships that will cultivate our existing audience and expand our brand presence on emerging platforms
- Lead, motivate, mentor and develop the Social & Web Marketing team
- Proactively monitor performance to identify course corrections and/or new opportunities
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience
- 10+ years marketing experience in sports and digital marketing
- Fervent passion for social content with ability to lead social team in content capture & editing to drive fan engagement that tie back to business results
- Deep familiarity and experience with social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Threads, Weibo, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage a target audience
- 5+ yrs of demonstrated people leadership and successful track record of mentoring & developing extraordinary talent
- Experience with social media tools for business as well as familiarity with social boosting and optimization (Blinkfire, Parksley, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Slate, Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, CapCut, YouTube Studio, CliPro, PhotoShelter, WordPress)
- Track record of delivering results & ability to make strategic choices to enhance impact
- Capacity to uncover insights/foresights using data driven approach while leaning into marketplace curiosity
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects at different stages of development
- Self-starter who can work independently with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit
- Exceptional prioritization & time management skills
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling capabilities
- Breakthrough thinker with a strong pulse on culture and emerging trends
- Strong execution & critical thinking skills, business savvy and an opportunity seeker
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key partners and influence at all levels
- Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based on sound business judgment
- Availability and eagerness to work all games across the LA Clippers NBA Schedule (home and away games) with some concert/event responsibilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset
- $150,000 - $165,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
