Purpose of the Job:
The Director of Strategic Growth leads the law firm's attorney recruitment strategy to attract and onboard high-performing legal talent across diverse practice areas. This role partners with senior leadership and managing partners to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives and oversees the full recruitment lifecycle. The Director plays a critical role in driving the firm's expansion by ensuring the timely acquisition of top-tier, client-centric attorneys and contributing to a positive, inclusive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for attorney hiring.
- Align talent acquisition efforts with the firm's strategic growth plans.
- Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of attorneys.
- Partner with department leaders and hiring committees to facilitate hiring decisions.
- Ensure a seamless, transparent, and positive candidate experience.
- Enhance new hire integration through structured onboarding and engagement plans.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and managing partners to understand hiring needs.
- Build strong relationships with external recruiters, law schools, and legal networks.
- Drive DEI-focused recruitment strategies to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Monitor hiring outcomes to ensure equitable access and representation.
- Track key recruitment metrics and report actionable insights to leadership.
- Optimize recruitment processes using industry best practices and market intelligence.
- Stay informed on legal hiring trends and recruitment technology.
- Lead initiatives to keep the firm competitive in the legal talent market.
- Perform additional responsibilities and strategic projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in legal recruitment, staffing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of the legal market and industry dynamics.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Project management and multitasking abilities in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of DEI recruitment practices.
- Strategic thinking and alignment with organizational goals.
