Description:
Tulane School of Medicine Director of Strategic Business Initiatives & Project Management, serves as a key leader within the Tulane School of Medicine, managing and integrating complex, transformational business initiatives and projects. This role supports the Vice President and Chief Business Officer (CBO) and collaborates closely with senior leadership across Tulane School of Medicine and Tulane University. The Assistant Director will support cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and assist in developing long-term strategies to achieve fiscal growth, operational efficiency, and institutional goals. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work well in a multicultural dynamic environment.
Ability to build relationships and experience working collaboratively on a board cross-functional project servicing multiple stakeholders.
Proven track record in managing competing priorities and working effectively under pressure.
Intellectual curiosity and the mental agility to troubleshoot and make sound decisions in response to rapidly changing, often complicated situations.
8+ years in project coordination, administrative management, strategic planning, or related fields,
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
5+ years in academic medical center/health system setting.
