The Director plays a key leadership role in shaping the organization's long-term strategic direction and driving business growth. This role is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing initiatives that support organizational goals. The Director works cross-functionally to align strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring the organization remains competitive and forward-thinking.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, communication, and execution of strategic business development initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and markets for growth.

- Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Oversee the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for potential initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics and develop reporting tools to track progress against strategic goals.
- Manage strategic projects and initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.
- Foster and develop existing 3rd-party commercial partnerships
- Act as lead relationship manager for 3rd-party relationships by building and maintaining high-level relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and potential clients.
- Develop and implement new growth initiatives with existing and new clients
- Refine and implement the commercial strategy and manage the annual contract & price negotiations for each account
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with our partners' management teams. Focused on performance, issue resolution, and forward-looking sales planning.
- Attend trade shows & industry events to develop partnerships
- Train & onboard stakeholders at new 3rd-party relationships, key personas receiving training will includes front-line sales teams, sales management, marketing, product management
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and briefings for the Board and senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts or managers focused on strategic initiatives and partnerships.
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
- 6+ years of work experience in strategic implementation, business development, management consulting, or corporate development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Master's/MBA preferred
- Experience leading strategic planning and executing growth initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with business case development and financial modeling.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience in B2B services, B2B sales, or manufacturing preferred
- Experience managing a team effectively to achieve organizational objectives.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.
- Willing and able to travel domestically approximately 30% annually, including travel by car and commercial airline.
