Job Description:
Centralize customer account management by collaborating with the Business Development Team, Project Managers, Estimators, and Division Managers. Establish protocols for how the company manages customers and meets their needs.
Build and maintain customer relationships with existing and potential clients. Attend customer events, store openings, and other customer relations opportunities to foster strategic relationships.
Manage the business development team to drive growth by identifying new customers and project opportunities. Monitor the revenue pipeline and drive the creation and follow-up of sales leads.
Use internal and external data to set priorities regarding clients, regions, and specific project opportunities.
Through proactive customer communications, stay ahead of customers' current and future needs to guide service offerings and sales tactics. Identify opportunities for service offering improvements.
Identify customers' corporate hierarchy, geographical footprint, growth plans, and pain points. Use this knowledge to take action necessary to drive sales growth. Report this knowledge to the leadership team to shape the overall corporate strategy.
Incorporate a customer service philosophy throughout all business functions through mentoring and training of key employees and sales/marketing process design and implementation.
Ensure sufficient follow-up on bid results for every project by monitoring all estimating activity and establishing procedures for achieving an optimal bid success ratio.
Work within the parameters of the departmental budgets while achieving the roles, responsibilities, and high-level corporate goals.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell among the company's various regions/offices and between Service and maintenance, Special Projects, and General Construction.
Manage and standardize all company communications and touchpoints with customers, potential customers, employees, vendors, and other stakeholders (internal and external) to align with the company's core values and desired brand image.
Be responsible for protecting and building the corporate brand image by controlling our customers' and suppliers' external communications and various touchpoints.
Guide the Executive Team on ways to differentiate ourselves from our competitors as a General Contractor and a Service/Maintenance provider.
Work with Operations to improve service quality and design/implement quality control processes to exceed our customers' expectations.
Partner with the executive team to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic growth plans, identifying and reaching growth milestones.
Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive strategies and tactics.
Assist Operations and Recruitment with resource planning to ensure the company meets current and future customer needs. This includes identifying partnerships, acquisitions, or other investment opportunities to support the company's growth objectives.
Have a strong understanding of competition in the market and positioning.
Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on our corporate competitors.

KDC offers a competitive salary/hourly range $170,000.00 to $250,000.00 - while considering the candidate's experience and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees:

- Additional Job Description
1. BA or BS degree in a related field and equivalent work experience.
2. Ten years' proven track record in business sales or related markets.
3. Demonstrated success in selling and developing new business with revenues ranging from $1 million to over $30 million.
4. Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
5. Must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent time management skills to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to communicate technical or non-technical information to team members and clients clearly and concisely.
9. Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
10. Demonstrates firm conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
11. Able to identify a need, remove barriers, and know how to make things happen.
12. Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people. Has good common sense and applied logic.
13. Must possess or obtain an appropriate state driver's license before employment, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
