Director of Surgical Services - Round Rock, TX

• Location: Round Rock, TX
• Schedule: Full-time | Days (No Weekends)
• Salary: $100,422 - $150,654 per year + 15% Director Bonus
• Sign-on & Relocation Bonus Negotiable

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead a high-performing perioperative team. This role oversees OR & SPD operations while ensuring excellence in patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Department Scope:

• 11 Operating Rooms (+2 opening in 2025)
• 1 GI Lab
• Specialties: Cardiovascular, Robotics, Ortho/Spine, Neuro/Spine, Trauma, Oncology, Urology
• Technology: 2 DaVinci XI Robots + 1 Mako Robot
• 70+ FTEs | 2 Direct Reports (OR & SPD Managers)

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations in OR & SPD, ensuring patient safety and efficiency
Drive quality improvement, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance
Develop and implement best practices to enhance patient care
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing surgical services team
Manage budgets, resources, and process improvements for operational excellenceQualifications:
Education: BSN required, MSN/MBA/MHA preferred
Experience: 3+ years in a leadership role in Surgical Services preferred
Licensure: Active RN license (or eligibility) in Texas
Certifications: CNOR or CSSM preferredBenefits:
