Beyond that, you'll play a key role in budgeting and actively seeking funding through grants, ensuring that resources are used efficiently to benefit every student. Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Master's Degree in Education or other appropriate discipline and 3-5 years of relevant K-12 curriculum experience or
a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. - Hold or eligible to hold a Vermont Professional Educator's License with a Curriculum Director Endorsement.
- Strong Background in curriculum design and instructional pedagogy, with expertise in implementing standards-based and proficiency-based learning.
- Skilled in developing and applying student assessment strategies while managing data collection and analysis, leading Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to embrace diverse student needs and ensure academic success.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to various stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, school boards, and the public.
- Proficient in educational software, leveraging technology to improve outcomes and drive growth.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform curriculum decisions and improve student outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, maintain high standards, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Resilient in stressful situations, adept at conflict resolution, and committed to professionalism.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in the areas of knowledge and professional practice.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal guidelines
