Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Transportation functions that deliver finished goods from manufacturing plants and third-party distribution centers to the company's distribution centers including internal private fleet drivers and supervisors/managers
  • Manage the operation and administration of third-party common carriers and freight brokers
  • Develop and manage the annual Transportation budget
  • Monitor performance against goals and objectives for the Transportation team, i.e., budget attainment, safety, service and quality, etc.
  • Oversee the operation for outbound and full goods warehouse for the company's Downey, California manufacturing plant
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning team, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, third-party common carriers/brokers, and private fleet operations to ensure customer service expectations are met
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 plus years of related experience and 6 plus years of people leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 13 plus years of specific experience and 7 plus years of people leadership experience


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree
