Summary:
The Director of Unistel Operations is responsible forall day-to-day functions of Unistel Industries, including management, oversight, and planning of all operations. The Director of Unistel Operations will oversee business development and drive financial performance to achieve budgeted revenue and growth. This position is responsible forthe management of daily operations including leading and managing production, purchasing, warehouse, logistics and planning functions to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and seamless delivery of products.

This position is responsible forthe management of daily operations including leading and managing production, purchasing, warehouse, logistics and planning functions to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and seamless delivery of products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee daily activities of the production floors, warehouses and shipping and receiving. Ensures orders are completed and meet established timeframes, adhering to standards set (i.e. Safe Quality Foods).
- Ensure that all facility, production, quality, and participant needs are met
- Assist the EVP of CDSLT to establish Unistel annual goals and strategic objectives.
- Develop management plan to oversee the progress of established goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement monthly department scorecard to identify operational areas of improvement, measures, and progress on achieving established department goals.
- Create procurement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure stable supply of raw materials.
- Support sales team and senior buyer to cultivate relationships with customers in the US and overseas to maintain and enhance Unistel's overall reputation.
- Oversee and monitor compliance with inventory and shipping and receiving procedures.
- Provide monitoring to ensure that programs are fully compliant with New York State Office for People with Developmental Disability Standards
- Ensure facilities are clean and well organized. Ensure property, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and secured at all times.
- Responsible for all aspects of supervision including disciplinary procedures when necessary. Coordinate and approve time off requests for all Unistel employees.
- Complete performance objectives and appraisals as scheduled
- Provide relevant trainings to Unistel employees.
- Ensure effective cross coverage of other Unistel activities to maintain quality services.
- Prepare and submit report to the EVP of CDSLT in a timely manner
- Attend mandatory education and training sessions, as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and motivate others.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. dead weight.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 5 years industrial experience in a supervisory capacity
- Highly developed leadership skills; financial analysis and business planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills relative to all levels of the organization
- Reliable transportation (NYS Drivers' Licensed required).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Sedentary working environment
- Ability to reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to turn/twist upper body.
- Able to use hand repetitive action for fine manipulating, keyboarding and typing.
