EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Director of Unit Turnover - Full Time
M'akola Housing Society - Victoria, BC
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Unit Turnover will develop the Unit Turnover team, creating, developing, and managing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)'s for the new team with the goal of reducing unit turnover time significantly. The Director of Unit Turnover will coordinate the completion of unit turnovers and work closely with the Property Managers and Housing Services departments to refill units in a timely manner.
This position is full-time, permanent, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with limited travel throughout BC. This positions salary is $105,000 per year.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Construction, or a related field is preferred
- Management experience is required
- PMP Certification or coursework is an asset
- Project Management experience in Social or Affordable Housing is preferred
- First Aid - Level 1 or willing to get training (cost covered by M'akola)
- Possesses a valid Class 5 Driver's License, Clean Driver's Abstract and has a reliable vehicle to carry tools and for hauling, if required
- Experience sourcing and working with contractors including experience obtaining and executing quotes for services
- Experience working in and with the Indigenous community preferred
Other
- Limited travel throughout BC will be required
- Willing to participate in personal and professional development
- Follow M'akola Housing Society policies and procedures
- Provide a clear Criminal Record Check
