Octagos is a dynamic and rapidly growing healthcare technology company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through AI-driven solutions and clinical accuracy. We are seeking a strategic, user-focused Operations Director to join our Wearables team.

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations oversees day-to-day operations in our cardiac monitoring facility to ensure efficient patient care, regulatory compliance, and alignment with healthcare delivery goals. This role involves developing operational protocols for cardiac monitoring services, managing medical device budgets, supervising clinical departments, and optimizing workflows to maximize patient care quality.

This is an in office position based in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement operational plans aligned with healthcare delivery standards and company strategy.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cardiac monitoring efficiency and patient care quality.

Budget Management:

• Manage operational budgets for equipment, track medical supply expenses, and maintain cost-effectiveness.

Department Oversight:

• Oversee and coordinate activities across monitoring centers, device logistics, and patient care services.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise clinical, technical, and logistical support teams to achieve operational excellence.

Employee Management:

• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating monitoring specialists and support staff.

Performance Measurement:

• Track and analyze metrics, patient outcomes, and service quality indicators.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, technical teams, and executives to ensure coordinated patient care.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve operational challenges in service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  • 10+ years in operations management, preferably in cardiac monitoring or medical device services.
  • Experience supporting software-as-a-service or healthcare is preferred.
