POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director PACE Center Operations is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the day-to-day operations of Franciscan Senior Health & Wellness centers through effective management of resources and systems to ensure all locations meet their operation, human resource and budgetary goals. This individual will take a systems approach to strategically direct operations using a balance of remote and in-person presence to oversee operations, redesign service delivery processes and achieve operating performance goals. The Director contributes to strategic initiatives, system-wide optimization, and long-term organizational growth with a commitment to excellence within the PACE model of care. A strong focus will be placed on ensuring and advancing high-quality participant service delivery and care across all FSHW PACE Centers, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and person-centered care that aligns with the PACE model to optimize participants' experiences.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Direct and oversee the day-to-day center operations of the PACE program ensuring that participants receive all required services and supplies through operations that align with ministry goals.
  • Oversee and direct delivery of services provided by FSHW coworkers and contracted vendors
  • Systemize IDT functions and develop data-driven decision support tools for team-based decision-making within the PACE model of care.
  • Oversee continuous optimization for efficient and timely documentation of service delivery.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-informed decisions, maintain adequate staffing levels that support operational needs, and to optimize organizational performance
  • Maintain and expand the FSHW Interdisciplinary team and other PACE roles to proactively and consistently meet dynamic operational demands.
  • Strategically design career ladders for workforce development within the PACE model of care.
  • Responsible to ensure that all PACE centers maintain a full IDT for decisions and functions required by PACE regulations.
  • Provide leadership development of direct reports to expand skill set and impactful leadership rooted in the 5 Franciscan Values to effectively advance the PACE vision.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in business management, financial operations, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and transformative innovation
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodology to incrementally innovate PACE center operations for operational excellence
  • Implement best practices and care models across PACE Centers and standardize operational workflows to achieve aligned operational excellence at all Centers operated by FSHW.
  • Ensure adherence to all CMS, local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing PACE operations.
  • Take a lead role in clinical compliance audits and readiness activities, including preparation for CMS and other regulatory body reviews
  • Develop a systematic strategy for budget development across PACE Centers in collaboration with Business operations leadership.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies to support the organization's mission, vision, and goals under the direction of the Administrative Director.
  • Forecast marketplace, regulatory and community changes impacting PACE Center operations.
  • Develop strategic and proactive operational plans for sustainability and growth aligned with our Franciscan Mission.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall enterprise performance and operational efficiency. Collaborate with PACE business operations leadership to address enrollment fleet and vendor needs.
  • Lead initiatives to improve participant satisfaction by optimizing service delivery and addressing operational concerns.
  • Monitor and ensure high satisfaction rates of participants, families and coworkers and incorporate this as a measure in performance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and community providers to enhance program services.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care, or related discipline - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Health Care Related - Preferred
  • 3 years in a senior management capacity with operations oversight - Required -AND-
  • 3 years in a program serving frail/elderly patients - Required
  • 3 years' experience managing multiple sites, program planning, Budgeting and resource development responsibilities - Preferred
  • 3 years' experience within the Indiana non-profit marketplace with knowledge of healthcare, long-term care, the PACE model - Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma - Black or Green Belt - Preferred
  • Driver's license - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - Amercian Heart Association - Required
