About the role:

Join Scripps as Director, Payer Analytics where you will be responsible all payer negotiations on behalf of Scripps Health. Using Strata's Axiom platform to review and model our contracts, this is the ideal position for a dynamic individual to lead this work and develop all our models to help achieve the best results for the system.

Participate in establishing and ensuring achievement of the organization's strategic objective and leads strategic efforts of assigned areas.

Provide functional expertise essential to support department directors and managers and/or executive team.

Oversee budget for assigned areas. Directs standards of practice and process improvement activities.

Oversee staffing matrices and possesses authority to hire, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline employees.

Direct policy and procedure formation for guiding and supporting the provisions of the service.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or related field.
  • Five (5) years of management experience in managed care or health plan analytics, including two (2) years in health plan market research.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Master's degree in business or health care administration or related field.
  • Experience with Strata contracting application.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex payer models including FFS and value-based arrangements.
  • Experience with Axiom is strongly preferred.
