Role Summary:
Purpose Unlimited is seeking a dynamic and experienced People & Culture (P&C) Director to drive key people strategies that support our organization's vision and business goals. In this multifaceted role, you will lead our Total Rewards function, serve as a trusted business partner, oversee day-to-day operations, and implement innovative improvements using analytics and AI. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll play a critical role in shaping our culture and helping our business thrive.

In this multifaceted role, you will lead our Total Rewards function, serve as a trusted business partner, oversee day-to-day operations, and implement innovative improvements using analytics and AI. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll play a critical role in shaping our culture and helping our business thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partner
- Strong Partnership: Partner with our leaders and team members to provide strategic guidance and deliver a full spectrum of P&C services including talent acquisition, performance & talent assessment, development, succession planning, compensation and benefits, and engagement, among other examples.
- Business & Client Oriented: Learn about and deeply understand our industry and products to align P&C efforts with business needs.
- Focus on Solutions: Identify challenges, propose actionable solutions that address the root cause, and collaborate effectively to achieve results.
Total Rewards
- End-to-end Ownership: Own, lead, and operationalize our Total Rewards function, including our end-to-end Compensation Cycle process, compensation analysis, Equity Program, Benefits, variable compensation structures, and respective technologies and tools.
- Opportunities & Innovation: Be well-versed in our structure and constantly look for improvement opportunities, including remarketing, as well as explore and experiment with new ideas that align with our culture and enhance our value proposition.
Operational Excellence
- Operations: Oversee P&C strategy execution and operations, ensuring we align and achieve the organization's goals.
- P&C Practices: Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of P&C policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize operational efficiency and enable scalability.
- ProcessDesign: Design, implement, measure, and monitor P&C operational processes that enable our company to remain nimble and unencumbered by bureaucracy, while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- AI & People Analytics: Analyze data, identify patterns or trends, generate insights, and develop actionable, innovative solutions.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive P&C experience, including 3+ years as a P&C Business Partner or similar role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and P&C practices.
- Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Communication: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- French Language: Fluency in French is a plus.
