Job Description

The Director, Primary Care Operations will partner with the Chief and other functional areas throughout the system to develop a market-leading primary care enterprise that consistently achieves operational excellence, meets the evolving needs of Atlanta's children and families, and attracts and aligns with community pediatricians who deliver primary care. primarily responsible for the operational management of the physicians within a practice. Working with the system medical director, the practice director oversees physician staffing, scheduling, performance, and people management for the practice.

Experience

• In addition to clinical experience, 5+ years administrative or leadership experience in a pediatric hospital or health care setting
• Experience building and maintaining partnerships between clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
• Experience in acquiring philanthropic and governmental program support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a primary care setting
• Master's Degree in related field

Education

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field

Job Responsibilities

• Provide operations leadership for Primary Care.
• Collaborate with the Chief, Primary Care, Chief, CPG and COO, CPG to ensure efficient delivery of quality patient care to benefit the children and families we serve.
• Manage day-to-day operatio0nsal and business components of the clinical operations including facilitating acquisitions of new practices.
• Engage in strategic plan development and implementation of practice(s) strategic plans and ensure optimal operational, financial, customer service, clinical outcomes.
• Act as business operations liaison for shared services with Children's and any primary care offices.
• Supervise, guide and direct managers to achieve practice and organizational goals.
• Analyze, monitor and manage operational and financial goals and indicators to drive operational results.
• Achieves goals and outcomes as outlined in established annual performance goals and practice plans.
• Provides routine updates on operational and financial performance.
• Develops and implements performance plans that drive results.
