NBAZ is looking for a seasoned Director Private Banking to join Arizona's #1 Community Bank in Scottsdale, AZ.

Essential Functions:
  • Has responsibility for the management, supervision and administration of banking activities for high net-worth clients, including private banking, executive banking, and insurance.
  • Ensures a full range of services are appropriately provided to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Develops strategies to market and deliver private client services to targeted markets.
  • Monitors the achievement of deposit and loan volume goals, providing advice and guidance on complex credit decisions.
  • Establishes and executes operating processes and procedures to comply with lending, deposit and other key risk areas.
  • Ensures employees are appropriately trained and are using available resources to reach or exceed revenue expectations and are cross-selling with other areas of the bank.
  • Guards against and helps resolve any unfavorable trends.
  • Provides guidance for or has direct involvement with the largest and/or most complex relationships.
  • Responsible to hire, fire and performance management of staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of managing high-net worth client relationships, lending practices, credit, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Senior level managerial, motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred.
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of banking products and services for high net-worth clients and credit and lending.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development ability, expert marketing and customer service skills and strong client advisory skills.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of financial products and banking regulations.
  • Thorough comprehension of credit risk management, loan underwriting and structuring loans.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and organizational skills and creative abilities.
  • Must be extremely detail-orientated and able to prioritize.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications.
