Overview

This position will lead the Product Marketing Team within Commercial Floorcare, directing the portfolio of products for the Sanitaire and BISSELL Commercial brands.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
  • Sales and Financial Goals: Achieving sales targets, gross margin, and allocable operating income.
  • Product and Marketing Management: Launching and developing new products, creating go-to-market strategies, managing supplier negotiations, driving consumable attachment, and overseeing the three-year product roadmap.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Understanding the commercial product landscape and developing competitive response plans.
  • Quality and Performance: Ensuring product quality and performance meet or exceed end-user expectations, while leveraging BISSELL's PD&E and sourcing capabilities to bring innovative products to the Commercial Cleaning Equipment market.
  • Team Development: Growing and developing the team and driving progress on key organizational initiatives.

Other responsibilities/duties include:
  • Represent the Product Team on the Commercial Floorcare Leadership team, helping to shape the short-term and strategic direction of the BISSELL Commercial Floorcare business.
  • Optimize the Commercial Floorcare product portfolio across both brands to grow market share within the Cleaning Equipment category. Responsibilities include effective product lifecycle management, driving category innovation, and utilizing internal and supplier resources in the product development process.
  • Manage programs with Commercial Floorcare suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing. Leverage supplier resources in the product development process and utilize these relationships to explore new product category opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for new product launches, ensuring product claims clearly convey measurable benefits to the end user.
  • Identify and present brand and category growth opportunities to key customers, sales teams, and global regions. Strengthen relationships with key distribution and supplier partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Brand Marketing to capture the "voice of the consumer," positioning the Commercial Floorcare business to increase category share through product assortment optimization. This approach aims to maximize growth and profitability for both Commercial Floorcare and our distribution partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage the product marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Lead, coach and manage the development of direct reports. Ensure that they have a defined and agreed to career path and that their development coincides with the stated goals.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
  • Degree minimum: Bachelor's degree
  • Specific concentration: Marketing
  • Experience level: 10+ years in marketing
