Director, Project Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Project Management to lead our project management office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, product development, and building PMO functions from the ground up. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy:
  
  
  • Develop and implement the overall strategy for the PMO.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and coordinators.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Program Management:
  
  
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs and projects.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
• Product Development:
  
  
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure projects meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in product development processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of new products to market.
• PMO Development:
  
  
  • Establish and maintain PMO standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Implement project management tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the PMO and its projects.
• Stakeholder Management:
  
  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and buy-in for projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in program management and product development.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading a PMO.
