Quality & Food Safety Director - Beverage Manufacturing
Location: Virginia
We are looking for a dynamic Quality & Food Safety Director to lead quality operations at a high-volume beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures product excellence, regulatory compliance, and a strong culture of quality while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead plant quality operations, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, ISO, AIB, etc.).
Oversee a team of ~40 employees, including three direct reports, fostering leadership and development.
Drive a culture of quality through continuous improvement and best practices.
Ensure food safety and product conformity through robust monitoring and compliance protocols.
Manage laboratory operations, testing, and training programs.
Act as the primary quality contact, collaborating with internal teams and regulatory agencies.
Maintain certification programs, including GFSI/FSSC 22000, Kosher, and Organic.
Develop and execute a long-term strategic vision for quality excellence.
