Job Description:
The Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating staff and activities at multiple clinics to provide quality, cost-effective care. May also be responsible for business development and establishing/maintaining positive working relationships with community leaders and hospital leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques. Knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Setting, defining, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes of tasks and goals.
Abilities:
Ability to clearly communicate and apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to plan, exercise initiative, problem solve, make decisions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinic policies and procedures. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Ability to manage financial information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing or related field. Prefer Master's degree.
Prefer 3-5 years Oncology office management experience preferred, including at least 2 years in a clinic setting. Strongly prefer experience managing multiple locations

Job Description:
The Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating staff and activities at multiple clinics to provide quality, cost-effective care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervises all Operations Managers/Regional Operations Managers for assigned region and others as directed.
- Manages daily operations at assigned clinic(s) and coordinates the work activities and schedules.
- Ensures provisions of safe, high-quality patient care by the staff.
- Evaluates performance and recommends candidates for hire, merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
- Ensures that all business functions are operative and that all processes are effectively and efficiently in place. Identifies and implements process improvement changes. Creates goals for clinic operations and ensures that these goals are in line with organizational goals.
- Maximizes opportunities to manage operating costs.
- Works closely with Providers and MD Partners ensuring all clinic and company goals are met.
- Contributes to the writing and revision of company policies, procedures, job descriptions and competencies etc.
- Maintains an active and/or leadership role in company projects and initiatives and ensures implementation and integration in clinics.
- Oversees Regional Safety and Compliance for all governing agents in collaboration with other Managers and Directors to include but not limited to: OSHA, QOPI, PQRS, and Meaningful Use etc.
- Creates and maintains an environment of trust, integrity, open communication, teamwork and respect.
- Works collaboratively with vendors, contractors, building maintenance and others that interact with all regional clinics.
- Oversight of payroll for direct reports and Performance Excellence Plans.
- Responsible for mentoring, coaching and development of direct reports.
- Brainstorms action planning in an effort to improve scores of the Employee engagement survey.
- Works with managers of all clinics in reviewing and analyzing patient satisfaction and developing action plans for improvement.
- Has superior skills in building relationships with Providers.
- Relates well to all types of people using diplomacy and tact in team building.
- Regularly rounds in clinics to assure high visibility and develop trusting relationships with staff and to ensure validation that changes, and initiatives are fully engrained.
- Works collaboratively with department directors/leaders to achieve operational/projects initiatives, goals and outcomes.
