The Domino's Pizza Analytics & Insights (A&I) team in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Director, Research Science & Consumer Insights that values collaboration, problem solving, and has experience in driving innovative Market Research initiatives.
This role will be responsible for leading the strategic innovation and growth of our research portfolio across three areas: Brand & Customer Insights, Digital & UX research, and Qualitative Operations Research

This role will be responsible for leading the strategic innovation and growth of our research portfolio across three areas: Brand & Customer Insights, Digital & UX research, and Qualitative Operations Research

In this role, you will:
- Build and drive the roadmap for what brand and customer research in QSR can become in the age of AI, with an eye toward challenging the status quo and experimental innovation
- Mentor a team through building strategic brand and customer insights initiatives that inform marketing and business strategies, leveraging modern technologies to both accelerate and improve research where appropriate.
- Drive the evolution of a robust digital and user experience (UX) research program across digital touchpoints, including the socialization of current and innovative methodologies in UXR
- Facilitate your team's collaboration with product, technology, and marketing teams to optimize digital experiences based on data-driven insights, ensuring that research findings translate into actionable strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Direct research efforts related to website performance, mobile app usability, and emerging digital platforms, helping to establish best practices for leveraging usability testing, digital intercepts, and live forum feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee qualitative research initiatives focused on operational efficiency and customer experience optimization, working with vendors to direct store operations, employee experiences, and service delivery.
- Champion innovation by exploring new qualitative and quantitative research techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the research team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in consumer insights, preferably in food service, media, or packaged goods; strong consideration for candidates coming with a "start-up" mindset
- Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or other related field ; Social Science Master's or MBA strongly preferred
- Excellent communication & analytical skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional conversations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
