POSITION SUMMARY
Manages and coordinates team activities to drive revenue growth. Leads a team of Licensing Representatives to ensure sales performance is met or exceeds expectations. Facilitates coaching, process improvement and talent development while maintaining a high-performing sales culture.
LOCATION
Nashville, TN office. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises departmental employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum three years' sales management experience preferred. Sales, negotiation and/or collections experience required.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Leads and develops the inside sales team by overseeing daily operations and ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
- Monitors and improves sales interactions, including call quality, communication effectiveness, and license type knowledge.
- Intervenes and handles difficult calls on an as needed basis.
- Conducts performance reviews to evaluate productivity and improve workflow.
- Monitors and analyzes inquiries, customer trends, market trends and provides recommend responses.
- Develops and executes training initiatives to enhance team performance and streamline sales processes.
- Manages staffing, workflow, and productivity to meet or exceed departmental expectations.
- Ensures productivity levels are maintained or exceeded.
- Supports the creation of career development plans and career pathing for team members.
- Recognizes individual and team performance and takes proactive steps to retain talent.
- Coaches and develops Licensing Representatives through coaching and one-on-one meetings.
- Drives process improvements by collaborating with leadership on system enhancements and policy updates.
- Collaborates on the development of training and onboarding for Licensing Representatives.
- Regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of BMI General Licensing
- Selling, negotiating and collection skills
- Sales management experience required
