POSITION OVERVIEW/
Reporting to the COO and eventually the CRO, the Director, Sales is accountable for developing and executing sales strategies for new home construction and telco services. This includes leading a high-performing sales team, managing relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals, and meeting revenue targets, both personally and through team performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES/
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for both new home construction and telco services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Conduct market research to understand trends and customer needs within both sectors, allowing for the creation of targeted campaigns.
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources to meet or exceed sales targets.
Set and track team goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a high-performance culture.
Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, developers, contractors, and partners to maximize sales opportunities.
Work closely with partners to identify joint ventures or opportunities for co-selling.
Alignment of sales forecast and market growth for new construction with partners
Report on sales performance to leadership, making adjustments to strategies as needed.
Coordinate with other departments (marketing, hardware sales, legal, product, operations etc.) to ensure smooth project deliveries and customer experiences.
Work with go to market team to offer new solutions, pricing strategy and services that meet market demands.
Establish and track performance metrics to ensure the sales team is meeting goals.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to executive leadership.
Identify and target new partner and clients to scale 1VALETs growth
Accountable for ensuring closed deals come to fruition.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
Accountable for personal and team revenue targets
Lead the sales process, including prospecting, needs assessment, proposal development, and closing.
Negotiate and finalize agreements and other contractual terms.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Monitor account performance and client satisfaction, addressing any issues proactively.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
Focus on improving customer experience by ensuring that sales teams are providing the best possible service.
Ensure alignment between customer needs and services being offered.
