About This role:

The Director, Skip+ will lead the vision and strategy for the end to end Customer experience of this new membership program. Working across Skip's lines of business, you will be the key leader in driving the strategic vision, product priorities and business model through the engagement and alignment of the various teams that deliver on the Skip+ promise, including value proposition, delivery experience, and partner offerings. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the effective delivery of the brand promise to help our customers, partners and couriers experience an elevated experience through Skip+.

What's On Your Plate:
  • Leadership: This is an individual contributor role that will secure alignment and executional excellence through the engagement and collaboration with leaders across the Skip and JET organizations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), Strategy, Restaurant and Retail sales teams, Logistics, Care, Analytics, Finance and other internal Skip and JET teams to ensure alignment and delivery on all program requirements.
  • Strategic Vision: Develop the multi-year strategy for Skip+ that will set the standard for membership programs in Canada as well as engage with markets across JET for sharing of best practices.
  • Performance Measurement: Accountable for the performance of Skip+ including customer metrics, partner engagement and profitability targets. Working closely with Analytics and Finance teams to define and measure against KPIs, informing the short-term priorities and longer-term strategy for the Skip+ program


Location: Toronto or Winnipeg
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our offices & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Vice President, Marketing - Canada

Recipe for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce or related field
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience leading the development / execution of a loyalty program
  • Proven track record of building effective, data-driven strategies that deliver against objectives
  • Deep experience and appreciation for building relationships with various types/levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to deliver win/win scenarios that drive profitability for Skip and our partners
  • Fast learner who is highly organized and able to adapt to a rapid-growth and dynamic environment
  • An outstanding communicator with the ability to conduct themselves professionally under pressure
  • Positive team player that isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves
